The Armenian IGC Secretariat member Lianna Galstyan took part in the 10th annual meeting of Internet Governance Forum (IGF 2015) in João Pessoa, Brazil on November 10-13, 2015 and organized a workshop “IGF Initiatives MasterChef” with participation of National and Regional IGF Initiatives.
IGF is a multistakeholder platform that enables the discussion of public policy issues pertaining to the Internet. This year’s IGF focused on a range of sub-themes, including Cybersecurity and Trust; Internet Economy; Inclusiveness and Diversity; Openness; Enhancing Multistakeholder Cooperation; Internet and Human Rights; Critical Internet Resources and Emerging Issues.

The first Armenian Internet Governance Forum, ArmIGF 2015, was held on September 7-8, 2015 in Yerevan, Armenia. It was organized by the IGC with the support of the MTC of Armenia and the ISOC Armenia. The forum brought together nearly 170 participants from 10 countries: Russia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Belgium, Bahrain, Australia.
The main objectives of the forum were:
- to provide an open and transparent platform for all stakeholder groups
- to bring up and discuss the Internet governance related issues
- to give the floor to the wide community
- to deliver the messages to the policy makers

The Armenian IGC Secretariat member Lianna Galstyan took part in the 6th Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF 2015) held on July 1-3, 2015 in Macao and presented a report on Armenian IG principles.
APrIGF is one of the key regional initiatives on Internet governance which provides an open platform for multi-stakeholders to discuss and identify issues and priorities, and ultimately advances the development of Internet governance in the Asia Pacific region as well as bring forward and contribute to the wider global Internet community.

At SEEDIG and EuroDIG 2015, June 3-5, 2015, Sofia, Bulgaria, the Armenian IGC Secretary Grigori Saghyan presented a report on IGC and IGC Secretariat member Lianna Galstyan presented a report on Armenian IDN .հայ. The Institutional partners of the event were ICANN, ISOC, RIPE NCC, European Commission, the Council of Europe, Google, Microsoft, etc.
At the WSIS Forum, 25-29 May, 2015, Geneva, Switzerland, the IGC Secretary Grigori Saghyan remotely presented a report “Multi-stakeholder Internet Governance possible solutions” within the thematic workshop “Governance of the Service Quality in Internet – Regulation and Customers Role” on May 25, 2015.

The Armenian IGC Secretariat member Lianna Galstyan took part in the 6th Russian Internet Governance Forum (RIGF-2015) held on April 7, 2015 in Moscow. The event was hosted by the Coordination Center for TLD RU/РФ and supported by the Technical Center of Internet, the Russian Ministry for Telecommunications and Mass Media, the Russian Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC) and Kaspersky Lab. The forum’s partners include ICANN, ISOC and APTLD. This year, the forum brought together nearly 500 participants from 27 countries and four continents of the world: Eurasia, Africa, North and South America.
